Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (or the entity you represent) and SpaceTime Industries, Inc. governing your access to and use of Sentinel OSand all associated APIs, documentation, and services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any API provided by SpaceTime Industries, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Sentinel OS is a cloud-based critical infrastructure security and threat intelligence platform that provides:
- Real-time submarine cable monitoring, anomaly detection, and threat alerting
- Maritime domain awareness including AIS vessel tracking, dark vessel detection, and route anomaly analysis
- BGP hijack detection and internet infrastructure monitoring
- AI-powered threat correlation across physical, cyber, and space domains
- RESTful API and MCP server access to threat intelligence data
- Dashboard, alerting, reporting, and workflow automation tools
SpaceTime Industries reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use Sentinel OS, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Promptly notifying us at legal@usesentinel.io of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Ensuring that all users with access to your account comply with these Terms
You may not share your account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties. Enterprise customers may provision team accounts as permitted within their subscription.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Billing Terms
- Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD.
- Payments are processed via Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law. Annual subscribers who cancel within 14 days of an initial purchase may request a pro-rated refund.
- SpaceTime Industries reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days’ advance notice.
- Accounts with failed payments will be downgraded to the Free plan after a 7-day grace period.
5. API Usage and Rate Limits
Access to the Sentinel OS API is subject to the rate limits associated with your subscription plan (see Section 4). Additional terms for API usage:
- Rate limits are enforced per API key and per tenant. Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Persistent abuse may result in account suspension.
- API keys must not be embedded in client-side code, public repositories, or shared environments. You are responsible for securing your API keys.
- We may impose additional usage limits or throttle specific endpoints to maintain platform stability.
- API responses may include demo or sample data in non-production environments, clearly labeled as such.
- Automated bulk data exports exceeding your plan limits require prior written approval from SpaceTime Industries.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Sentinel OS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
Prohibited Activities
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations, including export control laws and international sanctions
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service
- Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the Service to build a competing product or to replicate the functionality of Sentinel OS
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or SpaceTime Industries’ systems
- Transmitting malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of any system
- Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
- Using the Service to conduct surveillance, tracking, or monitoring of individuals without their consent in violation of applicable privacy laws
- Reselling or sublicensing API access without express written permission from SpaceTime Industries
SpaceTime Industries reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of this policy.
7. Intellectual Property
SpaceTime Industries’ IP
The Service, including all software, algorithms, data models, interfaces, documentation, brand elements, and underlying technology, is and remains the exclusive property of SpaceTime Industries, Inc. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, SpaceTime Industries grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
Your Data
You retain all ownership rights to data you submit to or generate through the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant SpaceTime Industries a limited license to process your Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not use your Customer Data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant SpaceTime Industries an irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
For Enterprise customers requiring a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to comply with GDPR or other data protection regulations, please contact legal@usesentinel.io.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
SpaceTime Industries does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- Threat detection results will be accurate, complete, or timely — threat intelligence is probabilistic in nature and should be used as one input in a broader security decision-making process
- Demo data or sample outputs presented during trials accurately represent production data quality
- The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpaceTime Industries, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
SpaceTime Industries’ total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount paid by you to SpaceTime Industries in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SpaceTime Industries and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your Customer Data infringing any third-party rights
- Any unauthorized access to the Service using your account credentials
12. Termination
Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the paid period.
Termination by SpaceTime Industries
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service with immediate effect if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- You fail to pay subscription fees when due
- Your use poses a security risk to the Service or other customers
- We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any disputes arising under these Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact SpaceTime Industries at legal@usesentinel.io to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm. Class action waivers apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Order Forms, constitute the entire agreement between you and SpaceTime Industries regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver:SpaceTime Industries’ failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Assignment:You may not assign these Terms without SpaceTime Industries’ prior written consent. SpaceTime Industries may assign these Terms freely.
- Force Majeure: SpaceTime Industries shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
